Holiday Season 2022

Tis the season to be merry! And after a couple years of pandemic-stricken winter seasons, it’s good to feel a sense of normalcy return.  We encourage everyone to enjoy the holidays and spread as much cheer as possible.

Now that we’ve taken our deep breath and smelled the roses, let’s take a moment to talk about your organization’s emergency preparedness. Threat actors tend to take advantage of the holidays and strike when it’s most inconvenient. The holidays are the perfect opportunity to run malware, encrypt your data and hold your systems for a ransom opportunity.

Here is your gentle reminder to make sure you have your systems patched and your monitoring systems operating. Your SOC is armed and ready to isolate systems at moments notice. Your backups are immutable and secure. All servers and edge devices are capturing logs. Privileged accounts have been reset or disabled. You are ready. And if you’re not, contact us here and we’d be glad to discuss ways in which we can help.
