Brandon High School– Brandon High School originally opened in 1914 on the current site of McLane Middle School. In 1972, the school moved to its current location on Victoria Street in Brandon. Their vision is to prepare students for life, and to provide an education and the supports which enable each student to excel as a successful and responsible citizen.

Hillsborough County– Brandon is a part of Hillsborough County. Hillsborough County is a county in the U.S. state of Florida. In the 2010 census, the population was 1,229,226, making it the fourth most populous county in Florida and the most populous county outside the Miami Metropolitan Area.
